    Clevis pin?

    Hello from Brisbane.

I need a new clevis pin (part 306564) for the door retainer strap on my 88".

The part appears to be out of stock in all of the regular LR haunts or is listed at a ridiculous price after freight.

Is it the same part as that on the Defenders (PC108322)?

Alternatively, are clevis pins of various sizes something that are readily avalable locally at specialist fastener suppliers?

    Cheers,

What about buying a long-shank bolt of the correct diameter; cutting it to length and drilling the hole by hand for the split-pin?

You should be able to buy various size clevis pins from good fastener specialists. If you can't get what you want, I could turn something up for you, or contact the Ho Hars, they are wrecking some series vehicles at the moment, they probably have what you are after.

    Cheers, Mick.

    Hello again.

Yes, that was actually what was in there - just being a bit of a rivet counter, I suppose, and decided to try to locate the original item.

Actually, another member is kindly going to send me one from a wreck.

    Cheers,

    Neil

    Mick,

    Hello and thanks.

I was offered one earlier this morning.

    Cheers,
