Too easy, will do mate. I got the coolant pipes out. . It's easy to see they play an important role keeping the exhaust valves cool one you get them out.

In my blue land rover/ Leyland manual, which also covers the 2.6 motor it states,
Grade letters Z A B cylinder bore diameter nominal to plus 0.015mm (0.0006 in )
    B C D 0.010mm to 0.025 mm (0.0004 in to 0.001 in ) above nominal.

    Workshop Manual

    Hi Gav,

I have a original Land Rover Workshop Manual - and I believe that it covers the 2.6 6 cyl

You can borrow the manual if you like...

    It's a boomerang though..

Just let me know - I could take it to work tomorrow, and you could pick it up from me there if you need it in a hurry?

    Cheers,
    GG

The Shop has the Series II CD which contains the IIa version of the six cylinder. https://www.davesitshop.com/emporium/seriesiicd.html And the Landy Collection CD https://www.davesitshop.com/emporium/landycd.html contains the SIII parts and workshop manuals (including an oily fingerprint).

    All in Dave's Shop

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I would, but as discussed earlier, I don't have a CD drive or really even a computer to plug one into even.

Hello, I'm new to this forum, I'm not from Australia but from Austria. I just wanted to ask if you can still buy such an exhaust manifold. Greetings from the other side Ralf

    Welcome to the forum. 😊

Parts for these engines are getting harder to get but not impossible. Original exhaust manifolds without cracks on them are quite rare so you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled to find one if that’s what you are after? Regrading the headers Cooky made, they are not available new any more as he has passed away from what I’ve been told unfortunately. He was a guru on these engines and will be missed.
