An exciting step forward will happen this weekend.

Can you guess from the pic...

And yes, this is only half - no jokes about 3 wheeled Land Rovers please.

There's a few small parts and washers not shown, and one quite big and important part (which I'll leave you to guess) which unfortunately didn't show up in time, but that's an easy bit to add afterwards and it's not like I'll be driving it this weekend either...

I'll get slack to post pics on Sunday arvo once we're done.

Just had to try a dry fit to make sure everything clears as it should - as if there was any doubt - it is perfect and looks like the Factory made it this way.

    Ah, no...

I do have those but until I do the brake lines from the master cylinder, they aren't going on. Need to paint the firewall before that...

    Next guess..?

Thanks - Yep, you win the prize.

The new drive flanges are yet to arrive. It had Selectro FWH on it - of which one was broken - the same as the last Landy I had with those on it, so back to standard. The railko bushes were shot as well which I'm sure was another symptom of the FWH as they were dry and rusty - there's been no oil up there for a lot of years.

So, everything is brand new, down to the bolts and washers. Should make assembly easy.

I love opening up all the new parts when assembling that sort of thing... each piece brand new, shiny, clean, non-greasy, fitting, easy to work... hmmmm fun... makes me want to go out and assemble my front axle....

Your disc brake kit looks 'the bomb'. Would be a LOT easier than the path I'm following but then you wont gain track width either will you.

That looks like cookies disc conversion. Top quality.

    Cheers Rod
