From a S3 owner in England.

    Hi fellow S3 owners,

Good to see there are still some S3s still left on the roads in Oz,

I wonder..are they a very rare..in the Uk they are starting to become a bit thin on the ground..

I expect with you warm climate they last quite well,

Anyway keep up the good work guys...only just found this very interesting web site.

    Nick.

    Series 3 pricing.

prices starting to rise for the less corroded/not run a beach series 3's. For info try Free Local Classifieds Ads from all over Australia - Gumtree and search for land rover series.

The one we have just started restoring is a running, complete, rust free example that spent its life in central NSW, so it has survived well. A bargain at $500.

I wouldn't call them rare at all - uncommon on the roads, but still plenty kicking around. Will be some time before they fit in the rare category IMO.
