Thread: Springs & Shocks - What do I buy????

Hi All

I have been looking at purchasing new shocks and springs for my SWB 1977 Petrol which I am restoring

1. Can I buy shocks locally - What do you recommend?

2. Do I go for parabolic - And who is the best supplier?

The vehicle is going to be used for expeditions and will be carrying a fair load

You can buy shocks from any of the Land Rover suppliers, you could also probably get them from most Auto Parts shops but they'd have to order them in. Any known brand name should be OK.

The best parabolics seem to be Rocky Mountain. Britpart have parabolics in their range but have read several complaints.
Expensive to buy RM locally, expensive to ship if ordered from overseas.
