Gents (and Ladies),
I am trying to fit my fuel change over switch but am having difficulties. The fuel gauge only reads when the change over handle isn't at the fully on position. So if I have the direct fuel gauge wire running to the right hand tap switch with the tap to the right hand tank at the on position it doesn't read but as soon as I move the tap to just off the switch the tap reads fine. It stops reading if I turn the tap all the way over.

Not knowing anything about the switches I assumed it read/worked only when the tap depressed the little switch/ball at the bottom of the switch but it appears that the opposite is in fact the case and when the ball is depressed the tap turns off. Is that how it should work?
