They are great to tool around in - mine is generally my daily driver until the temps get up a bit and I go for the aircon in the Disco.
Yes, the fuel system - you will see the line from the tank goes through a pump and a filter (or two) up to the carbs and then runs to that expansion tank and back to the main tank. It's a constant pressure fuel system.
Mine has a Holley carb in it which I have just re-jetted in an effort to only stop at every second petrol station. :)
I really want to take it back to the original carbs and see how that works out but at the moment I am still looking at other bits like a new cam and electronic ignition.
Thinking of electronic ignition on mine,but i want to try to keep it as original as i can,as once restored i plan to sell it,and see if i can make money on a sale instead of losing heaps as iv'e done with various rangies and discos:(
