Once you have been to Dickson you will need to go back there unless they say otherwise.

If the lightweight had not been previous registered in Aust then you needed to go to Dickson but if it had been and was not modified and normal inspection garage could have done it.

    Cheers

Yeah - they have it listed as a partial and will only check the items they failed on the last visit.

As requested please find attached the new, and certified seat belt mounts.
The holes on the side are the original position (including the two rivet holes to hold the backing plate in place).

    Easy solution.
Strange though that on mine I wasn't allowed to use the top rail for securing the retractable type bracket.
I had to drop the bracket down and reinforce the bulkhead inside and outside at the securing points.
More than one way to skin a cat they say.....
    Thanks,

This is the standard location of the inertia reel in SIII 109 (stage 1).

The panel behind is reinforced with a double skin of aluminium about 75mm x 100mm and is present on many earlier SIII.

In the 110/Defender it is located in the gap between the rear door and the front of the transom bolted to the top of the tray with a corresponding bracket to the chassis below.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
