1996 Defender Rims on a 77 SWB
Hi All
Can I use 1996 Defender Rims on a 77 SWB Series 3 - Will they fit?
I can get a set at a good price ?
Thanks

They are also legal without engineering because the Defender 5.5" rim is equivalent to the Series Land Rover 5.5" rim which were optional on Series IIa and Series III (in fact all SIIa Army 88" were originally fitted with 5.5 rims).
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Thanks, does this mean these rims are better than the standard rims on the Series 3?

Probably much the same, the only real benefit would be if they were tubeless rims from the Defender.
