Cheers,
Considering the forecast is 35 degrees, i was thinking about lining my tray with a tarp and filling it with water... Problem is, it's not a standard landy tray and if i filled it right to the top it would be around 2 tonnes of water.
What is the maximum amount of weight that the standard LWB ute can carry?
The previous owner removed 2 leaves from the read to improve the ride so i imagine it will be a little less than standard.

Cheers,
Last summer I did the same but filled it with 50 bags of ice and filled it with beer!! Was a real talking point for the party..
Cut some blocks of wood to fit between the springs and chassis. Put a long piece across the top of the block to spread the load along the chassis - you don't want the vertical piece of wood punching through your rusty chassis.![]()
