I've never seen a S3 with both moving... all of them have at least 1 stuck

    Hello again.

One reason why both controls often can't be moved (debruiser's post) is because the heater tap is stuffed. These were the same as fitted to XY and XW Falcons from the early 70's and equivalent Fairlanes. Replacements are available from Rare Spares for about $40.

    Hello again.

I could also mention that so too are windscreen washer bottles and the fixing bracket.

    Thanks for that.
Have two washer bottles and brackets.
    maybe need new pump ????
Where is the heater tap ????
With the Holden set up, two pipes go into the upper and lower part of the heater box.
Is the Tap inside the heater box ????
There seems to be a bracket on the outside of the heater box, with nothing on it.
When driving Gilbert, seem to be a lot of heat around cab area.
    Maybe normal.

Both controls move OK. Up is off or On ????

    Hello again.

When it left the factory the tap would have been on the side of the box.

    Photos

    Hello again.

The heater box etc for my truck are out of it and in bits, so no photos.

Unless someone else has one punch 'Series 3 heater' into the search panel at the bottom of the page. In amongst the threads will be a photo of the set up.

    Cheers
