    Camping trip to bribie

    Hi all,

    Don't see many videos on here so i thought i might post one.

    Just crossing a little creek, always my favorite bit of bribie.

    This is another creek further down the beach the next morning... Very soft sand, and very deep water (no snorkel or desire to drown the car in salt water). Had to wait 2 hours for the tide to go out, all the while being harassed by a bunch of seagulls and a single magpie while we cooked some food.



    Very happy with how the landy performed, even enough to make me reconsider if i really want a Range Rover classic.

    G'day mate,
    Love to a series getting dirty, my opinion is that if you get a rrc make sure you keep the series 3 we need to keep more of them on the road and going off road. There's something awe inspiring about them, and it's great to see them being driven around amongst the new 4wds like 40 series cruisers and newer.

    Thanks for the video, I can't wait to see more of your adventures.

    Just a little question what's under the bonnet of your Rover?

    I would love to keep the series but right now just keeping this and another normal car registered and insured is killing me.. i figure the rangie would be a good compromise between offroad fun and actually being able to drive it in a car park.

    Under the bonnet is a V6 Mitsubushi pajero engine, bolted to a 5 speed Supra gearbox. Bought it from my neighbour who rebuilt the thing from scratch, and made these modifications.

    The reason the exhaust sounded so loud (obnoxious) is because everything past the box fell off when i drove through a big puddle, need to fix that.

    That's totally understandable. I've never thought of a Panero engine and supra box conversion before, thanks for the info.
