Your canopy looks really good. Rebus's tray dimensions are: 2135 mm long and 1808 mm wide - the height of the drop-sides are 305 mm. All measurements are from the outside edges.

My tray dimensions (and therefore the canopy) are 2200mm long by 1780mm wide (not 100% exact but seems to be the same size as yours)

All my canopy says it that it's budpo, and it definitely was not designed with a land rover in mind, nor was the tray. The window on the canopy didnt line up with the cab until i raised it.

    Canopy Windows

    Hello All,

I had a quick squiz on Gumtree and people are selling canopy sliding windows with insect screens for a reasonable price. The plot thickens .

I am considering the idea of having 2 layers of alloy sheeting and sandwiching a layer of polystyrene insulation between them, at least on the roof section. I will investigate this idea further at a later date.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    Metallurgical Question

    Hello All,

What metal/alloy sheet is compatible with a galvanised pipe frame?

How well does stainless steel go with gal pipe?

What rivets would be acceptable - material wise?

Would there be any benefit in putting something like webbing or rubber strips between the pipe and the sheet to stop chaffing? Or would this just build up moisture?

    Kind Regards
    Lionel
