    Hello D,

If it wasn't the computer crashing it could have been my brain. . . . . Most likely my brain

    Kind Regards

    carbed up

hey guys I just bought a series 3 1973,4 pot with the same dodgy carb as described Stromberg by Bendix, I drove it back from Perth to the Midwest (west oz) Unreal It had been in a hay barn a fair while after the previous owner parked it up and checked out bless him.
I filled up 4 or 5 times ..could be the tank sender ...but it is a bit juicy and a bit gutless ...will be looking for a new carb i think.

I stuck a new weber carb (all that was available, Bendix didn't even know that they made carbs in the past) on it and tweaked it up and down ...improved economy and performance, but thinking of a ahscroft gearing upgrade to achieve better top end whilst retaining low down torque......directly after I replace the exhaust manifold and put the brake booster on her....so many fun times ahead!
