Well little bit done in what little time I have free atm kept all it history scars. Had to fix a few things and then chucked a coat of etch primer still bit more work on it before final paint but getting there. now to flip it over and clean and repair underneath
Well the tub is painted and most of its galvanising and other bits are fitted turned out well still has caracter with its noon craters inside the tub and its few dents and scrapes on outside. Now to start on the tailgate and other bolt on pieces

All back together lots of readjusting of panels gaps etc few swear words
looks good even with its dents and bulges shows it’s history and it’s good to see as I bought it again
refitted the overdrive after mainshafts became available again forgot how noisy they can be but once road noise kicks in dulls it down
Well this has to be the end of all the big jobs just maintain it now
it’s clocked up only 13000 km since being registered and has been really reliable landy
Hi mate,
Been following this thread for a while and it looks great. Definitely an inspiration.
I actually picked up what I think is also a PMG telecom S3, going down a similair path so really.
Was wondering what you use as the paint code? Have found “New Telecom Gold” online:
but wanted to check before I order some paint, and you seem to have the only PMG landrover I can find online. Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers

hi
It’s good that another is around I have only seen one other in a post on facebook in the pmg/ telecom
Log in to Facebook
i took the panel around the hand brake gator to a paint place to colour match
as behind it had never seen sun etc it turned out close I think it could of been a bit lighter
I have parked next to a vw Combie van that was extelecom they were very close in colour
Have a read here. Sadly the photobucket debacle has robbed us of most of the pics. Post #20 tells the colour names.
