Does anyone know the distance a front propshaft should move from fully compressed to fully extended? No info in my s3 manual.
Reason for asking - I'm attempting to install britpart parabolic springs in my 1975 SWB and am having a real good time as nothing is going as its supposed to.
The car is now sitting 2+ inches higher in the front (expected), and the propshaft will no longer reach the front diff (huh?)
Were there different versions of the shaft? My mechanic has another one out of a 1972 SWB and it is longer than mine.
Any help appreciated.
