Station wagon seats - Front centre seat frame?

Can anyone post a pic or two of the seat setup as standard in a mid 70's Station Wagon. I'm just replacing some "aftermarket" highback 1970's ford escort seats in my 1975 109" Station Wagon. I picked up a seat back bar, (In the correct colour - thanks to Harry at Series Landy Rescue - cheers mate) and outer seat sliding frames, (from Harry as well), but I don't know what was correct for the middle seat. All rails and bars had been stripped. Harry looked up a parts catalogue for me, but we couldn't figure out what was standard. Can anyone share photos of what the centre frame looks like. In my 88", the middle seat back pins pop into their own plate which siameses off the outer seat back ones. using outer seat frames, there are no middle seat points.

    Thanks

I parted out an early Series III station wagon a while back.
It came partly stripped and the only pictures I have aren't too clear but as you mention the centre seat mounts off the same bracket as the outer seats. It's Y shaped at the top for the inner & outer seats to bolt to but when you have adjustable seat frames there is a seat rail with just a single bracket (hope that makes sense).

I fitted a center seat to my peretie recently. 89 defender.

Had to fit 4mm plate and grade 8 high tensile bolts before fitting the frame.

The seat frame was very basic - just two rails and a plastic clip for the seat base.

Rated as a category 2 seat by vicroads. Up to 38kg only.

Also had to fit a doubler plate for the child restraint to the bulkhead too.

    Series 3 seat brackets

I have some seat mount brackets out of my parts vehicle. I used the seats for my other series 3 as it had buckets in it, I don't think I have the full set but It may help you out and you are welcome to them. Next time I go Bush I will bring them back. Send me a PM and keep in touch.

Hi Did you get the photos of the wagon middle front seat base. It was a few months ago but I have a 74 series 3 wagon (imp UK) that I can take photos etc

Just tried to get it registered as a 12 seater after 30 years in the ACT. let the S@%^t fight begin with motor registry

    regards
