It is a beautiful soft smooth clutch, and I liked it that much I went back and ordered a pressure plate only ($180)
to put in my 2A that runs the Starfire four with the Nissan Cabstar box, as it presently has a Holden pressure plate which
makes the clutch very heavy and harsh.

    Hello Mick,

Thank you for the reply and for the information. Now what did Maxwell Smart used to say? That's right ... "i missed it by that much!" I ordered a Blusteele Heavy Duty Clutch Kit just after I posted my last message on the forum. Valued at $298.38 An internet search links Blusteele to the Australian Brake Company located in Chelsea Victoria 3196. Where the clutch themselves are made - the box might say, when it arrives.

I found a comment about Blusteele clutches on the JustCommodores Forum were Member HSVEE997, on July 13, 2016 wrote... "I must say absolutely awesome, the pedal was lighter and the grip is unreal." Accessed October 22, 2017 from Blusteele clutch kit? | Just Commodores

Did you need to get the flywheel dressed before fitting the clutch?

I will let you know how the Blusteele clutch works out. I will also keep your tip of Burson's in mind for the other my other member of the fleet that also requires a new clutch.

It has been damn too wet to do anything here in Bundaberg for about a month; especially when the vehicles that need work are located outside in the open. My daily driver has been sitting on the nature strip for the past week because the ground became too wet to drive the 100 metres between the road and the shed. We had no rain for at least two months previously and then Bundaberg broke historic records for rainfall in October.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

Hopefully it will be up to spec and as good as HSV has reported.
My flywheel was ok, so I just gave it a rub with some emery paper to clean it up a bit.

I assume you are getting a Land Rover clutch and not a Holden one?

    Cheers, Mick.

    Hello Mick,

Yes Mick, I hedged my bet by ordering a Land Rover Series III clutch. I have a 2.6 litre Land Rover petrol motor or a 2.25 litre diesel motor that the clutch could be used in. The diesel - Baldrick, already needs a new clutch anyway. It is a couple of steps down the order of work compared to the Holden 202 converted vehicle.

I will soon find out which vehicle gets the clutch first. Fingers crossed it is the Holden conversion. Just because it is currently on ramps and is easily accessible. No real rush anyway; the joy of having long term hobby projects.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel
