Do you have pics of it you can post up?
Hi,
I currently own a series 3 1974 88” diesel landy and I was told when I purchased it some ten years ago it is an ‘ex-national parks’ model.
It is fitted with larger tyres, safari roof, dual fuel tanks, PTO winch, water tank with rear tap etc. Used to also have shovel/axe holders etc.
Does anyone have any info on these national parks models (if this is what it is), as I cannot find anything online about them. Also worth noting it is yellow not green (someone may have repainted it before me), and has a petrol vin number however is fitted with 2.25l Diesel engine (may have had an engine conversion, is this common?).
I’m interested in it’s history and would appreciate any help.
Thanks

Would these plates help track some history on it? Not a game version unfortunately, although the same yellow...
I can remember when NP's had Landy's like that, we used to spend quite a bit of time up on Barrington and Gloucester Tops not long after it became NP and they had winter closures of some tracks, no gates in those days and the Parks blokes used to wander around late in the afternoon in the yellow Landy's. You could see them coming from along way away in open country as they stood out against the bush. Also spent a few evenings around the fire with them too, good blokes.
Forestry also had some yellow ones as well around the same time.
