Question for the masses, is the value of the Series 3 Stage ones substantially affected by how "original" they are?

I'm not talking fit an LS, coils, disks, coiler axles etc, just more subtle like Rover 4.6 and R380/LT230?

(I'm in dreamer mode till it gets here)

    Cheers,

Fantastic. That Rover V8 sound is worth the fuel bills.

    Cheers,
My guess is, probably not much today for the changes you suggest, but probably more so in the future. Series 3 is not really being seriously "collected" yet, but it is reasonable to expect that it will be in the fairly near future. And the Stage 1 is likely to be among the most desired, as they are relatively rare.

Once serious collectors start pushing the price up, they want originality. You see this very much today for Series 1 and increasingly for Series 2/2a.

I used to see that old girl around quite a bit, if anything the photos don't quite do her justice!

Tim, fix leaking gearbox? I thought you liked to keep things factory original!

Looks like a great buy, probably a good move re the tow truck, the Eucla - Perth stretch I hear is quite a long one!
