Thread: Stage 1 chassis.

Gday gentlemen
3 weeks ago I had my ex army 109 6cyl written off. I have located a good stage 1 chassis and wish to rebuild it Apart from the steering relay crossmember being further forward, the crossmember behind the gearbox being 110mm forward, is there any reason I cant use this chassis. The engine and gbox mounts can be cut off the bent chassis and welded on. I plan to cut the old gbox crossmember out and weld it in about 50 mm back from the original position and remove the stage 1 crossmember to fit a R380 and 230 transfer box from a Disco.Is there any thing I have overlooked.
