Thread: 109 fuel tank fill pipe question

Hi group,

MY 1979 S3 109 GS has near the bottom of my fuel tank fill pipe looks like an aftermarket hole installed, is this part of modifications done to comply with AU emissions and where is it meant to go too?

My 1978 GS has those thin black hoses which go to the vapour recovery tank, but no hole or port in the filler pipe like that.
