I am wanting to replace the two bucket seats and consul in my series 3 with an original type 3 bench seats. My question is “will series 2 and 2a seats fit a series 3”?

depending on how the buckets have been mounted you may need the "seat rails" which are just brackets to mount the original seats. Anything from a II-IIA-III will fit. Make sure you get the bolts to fix the seats to the brackets too.
