    help

hi guys does any one out there have a later series 3 1977 onwards up to and including stage one models with ute top (truck cab) that has the factor trim still in place , it originally had a off white soft hoodling and then had 4 seperate trimed pieces running around the edges , one piece at front on a angle where originally sun visors are screwed onto then there x 2 side pieces and x 1 rear piece all trimmed in off white vinyl .
all bits are held on with self tappers .
i want to have my 1977 ute with its original trim but need to make the pieces from scratch but unsure what they looked like as in the back corners the trim is rounded but not sure if its the two side bits are curved at back or the back piece has the bends in it .
i would really appreciate if some one can send some pictures of the bits going around the edges

I think the cab on my 2a (which was originally on a 1981 S3 is what you are looking for.

I'll see if I have some pictures, otherwise I'll get some tomorrow.

If you want to pm me an email I can send them to you.

Mine has the back panel curved at both ends to screw under the rear end of the left and right trims.

And now I realise where the little self tapper I found came from!

    Try this
    Cab_trim_detail2.jpg
Not a real good picture - its dark now! Probably should have used the macro setting.
