Transfer case fluid looked fine - a dribble from the drain plug, which I believe is OK. I undid the transmission fill plug and a ton of fluid came out. Drained the rest and it was just under 4 liters - but it was "clean". On checking I need to put 2.2 litres back in. Would this have contributed to the oil leaks?
Should I go to the mechanic who did the last service and advise them that these are not a fill-to-overflow transmission?
Thanks, I look forward to having some fun with the vehicle.
