Thread: 3.9 with 3.5 carbies / maafolds ?

Hi all,

Can any one tell me if a 3.5 heads and carbie manafold will bolt straight onto a 3.9 Bottom end ? of what mods would be required ?

Ahh, we always want more CIs. Yes they bolt up but... Have fun sorting the CDs. There are many variables on this one to get it right. Jets, Taper of the neadles etc. In my experience they seem to be individuals. Cam, Comp,Exhast set up all seem to change the CDs set up if you want it good on fuel and drivable. If well set up 14L/100 is on the cards with a 5 spd manual. But you have to keep it Tuned and sevice the CDs.
