    Brake Booster

Hi - has anyone with a LWB 6cylinder or V8 fitted a different brake booster and found it improved the brakes - if so what booster did you fit?

    Thanks

Years ago I had a suffix H SIIA 109" 6 cyl (converted to 253 Holden) and the original Girling mastervac was replaced with a 2 line PBR MasterVac from a drum brake LC Torana. The front brakes were on one line and the rear on the other.

When this vehicle was test driven by the brake specialist in Nowra he commented it was the first Land Rover he had ever driven that feels like it has brakes.

I felt that is was a significant improvement on the original system.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
