Fozzys heart.... Ok Kermits heart beats again....well knocks rattles scrapes the shroud and blows white smoke again....


Psimpson7 dropped round to help out and at about 1620ish this after noon after installing the handbrake, fuel tank, fuel system, cooling system, a rudimentry electrical system (read battery, earth cable, main starter feed and a wire to run the starter solenoide and one for the glow plugs) after using the brake bleeder to get the fuel up to the injector pump then priming it all properly7 with the lift pump he fired, after the second effort at injector bleeding with the big jump pack on (definately need a new battery) a couple of goes got it started, running rough and ragged at full pedal while the fuel pump got the injectors sorted then backed off to an idle, a little rough but well enough for an engine thats only been cranked over by hand for 30-40 rotations once a month or so for the last 8-12 months or so.

an hourish after putting the doors seats and some of the floor back in and fozzy towed the rover that ID been ratting for parts to sort the fuel system back to the carpark....



so sort the clutch , the electrics the panels, tidy some stuff up and he'll be right for roadworthy...

IVe also found out that Dobbos Ex series III is in a lot better shape chassis wise than was expected and apart from a truely rotten fire wall and doors could source out some usefull parts (including a chassis).
