    Hello everyone,

    My name is Ross, and I've just signed up as a new member to your great site. I hope to be able to lean on everyone for advice as I've never owned Land Rover before, even though I've always had my eye on them.

    My new aquisition is ARN number 38567.

    I'm currently looking for advice on which way to go with regard to the suspension, the front leaf springs look like they need either a reset or replacement.

    Any advices will be greatly appreciated.

    Ross, welcome to the forum, love the colour, any more pics, how about some details, where abouts are you, in case someone close by can help, what is ARN 38567, if it's military there is a section here on all things military in the REMLR forum, down a bit from this one, can't help you with the springs, but someone on here will be able to, Regards Frank.

    Thanks for the welcome. I got the ARN wrong, the number I posted earlier is actually the body number.

    29-640(ARN) 109 17/04/78 Series 3 GS. 6028 38567(body number) - 94320994C 94121988B - Olive drab

    Yes, it's ex military. To my knowledge, it was rebuilt in NSW by a Vietnam vet. It now resides in Melbourne, as I drove it down here last week.

    I'll post some more pics tomorrow, and give a more detailed description.
