Note - it fits the Series 1, 2, 3 except the Stage 1. I do not understand why he could not modify the linkage to work with the six.

If I had the money I would buy it now at that price. If you just bid on it the price is sure to go over the buy it now price.

    hi guys

have to confess here i am the lucky bugger ... assuming all is good when it arrives. Been eyeing these for some time but import price is about 5 times what i paid for the car and hard to justify.

will find a home on my 55 86in which is hopefully back on the road before xmas after a 3 year rebuild.

Well done Dane & welcome to the forum.
I don't think it's a good option on an 86 inch though, would look much better on a Brissy based yellow 88in.

    thanks

i thought the yellow ones were the sporty ones that came with o/d standard?

tough call i must say ... needed a pair of pork pie lights for the car too ... same price as the o/d. might end up with trailer lights now that the budget is blown

I was tempted to buy in now soon after it was listed - for one of my series 1 88s - however having spent money on a recent purchase and Christmas - was a no go - but very tempting.

I agree with John - making the linkage fit would have been easy as - this aspect did make me a little suspicious though.

    Good luck with it.
