    Truck Cab Rubbers

I am about to reassemble truck cab bubble roof to the half cab rear section that has the sliding and the two curved windows.
What rubbers do i use to seal between the roof and the half cab, and between the half cab and tub?
I have parts #333486 and #334614. Are these correct? If so which one goes where?
What glue/sealent should be used? I was considering using a non hardening wind screen sealent.
    Thanks Pat.

I would use contact cement between the seals and the rear wall only. As long as parts fit reasonably well, the spring of the foam rubber will provide a seal - the only reason for any glue is to keep it in place while assembling the cab. If you use the windscreen sealant you will be cursing yourself next time you have it apart!

For some strange reason I didn't think this thread was going to be anything about Land Rovers

I have just done this job

The top rubber #334614 is quite a special shape which fits into the groove see photo.
the bottom rubber #333486 is rectangular in section with a cut out in one side that will fit into the bottom, there should be an aluminium part that sits in the groove of the rubber. The only glue I used was some contact adhesive for the rubber seal on the windscreen.

Go back to your coil sprung corner and let us talk about real Land Rover stuff!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Thanks for replies and pic. Reason I intended to use sealent instead of contact is that the cab assy pannel leaked like a b.....d at the bottom, prior to stripping the truck for resto. Yesterday I had a look at my Defender and a mates 2a they both have 4 specially shaped L stiffining brackets called "Cab mounting distance pieces" (according to my manual).
These were missing when I dissassembled this section. I guess that my Landy was built on a Friday prior to a long weekend.
Has any body got 4 of these bracketes spare that they are willing to sell?
I am still chasing a cable operated accelerator assy for Weber conversion as well. Regards Pat.
