    Talking Sleepy's S3 109 Diesel

    Hello all,

    Well I've been looking for a expedition vehicle for a while. The type of vehicle I can subtly modify for remote work and weekend outings but still keep looking original.

    Well I bought one - and here it is! (You may have seen it on Evilbay)









    It's a 2.25 Diesel , 1978, 109 2 door - Second owner (First owner was his dad)

    It's got a Fairey OD too (I think I'll need it She certainly wont be a speed demon!)

    Now to get her home (1500km)


    Looks a beaut - hope to pick it up in a couple of weeks.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Have you realised that since you joined this site you have bought 4 series rovers?!

    Including the 90 and the Disco, if you hadn't sold the Series IIs you would have a fleet beginning to rival Dinty!

    You have to add the III to your sig now too!

    Fully sick, I have a 109 ser3 diesel too. please stop in and show me please.

    Mine is getting a head job ATM, so will be ready soon. would love to check it out PM me if you need some where to crash for the night. I is in Sydney. Near Pacific HWY.

    No probs, mate, I did the same thing when i bourght mine home from the gold coast. Make sure you drop all fluids before you leave or do it at my place as a base to check it over for the big trip south.
