Thread: Series 3 Compliance plate

Hi As a visiting Brit, and new to the compliance plate requirement on vehicles. Grateful for any information regarding its location on a SWB Series 3, 1975 vintage. Expected to find it on the engine bay fire wall, but nowhere to be seen. Is this normal? Were any vehicles ever exempt? Thanks in advance.

Wildcard

Often found on the top of the radiator panel. Sometimes on the slope of the inner mudguard.

By 1975 all "normal" vehicles would have had a compliance plate unless it was a personal import. Some ex mil vehicles may not have a plate.
