    Smile Brake Drum Min ID

    I am chasing the maxium inside diameter of a drum. I just want to check if they are shagged or could go for another run before i order the new linings and drums. These will be going onto my Lwb ute. The quote atm is:

    Drums $93.50 x 4= $374
    Shoes $66.00 x 4= $264

    its written on the outside edge of the drum.

    I think its 11.06 inches.

    the drums are really coroded ( spelling) and couldn't make them out.

    I don't have the S3 manual to hand, but the S2a manual gives +0.75mm.

    The 101 has the same basic drums and brakes as a S3 LWB 6 cylinder - just a 6 stud. The 101 drum has 281mm cast into it for maximum dia.

    Just a thought...

    If they are that badly corroded they will likely be unsalvagable.
