Also: the data sheet can not be correct, it mentions that the SIIA & SIII 1 ton all had the same ratio (? part synchro box) - this is not true as the SIII had the synchro box as did the last of the SIIB built in SA up till 1976.

Both sites were written by US/CAN LR owners - where series landies are scarce. As mentioned, I am sure the info isn't perfect, but they are right on the SIII reverse gear issue.

If you drive a series 3 offroad you notice the difference in reverse ratio compared to a IIA.
