    Mud tyres for series 3

I know that this is an oft discussed topic.
I have a S111 isuzu ute that mostly does farm duty (3rd low range is the norm)
It has 7.50 tyres with a tread that is more road than mud and they get a bit clogged in our Tassie mud!
I am after some tyres that are more mud than road (it is regd and does occas short trips on the road so need so be safe and legal). I do not want super big ones (no power steering) and do not want a massive expense.
    Suggestions please.

If you are looking for a size that same as you 7.50R16s either go that same size or a 235/85R16 is the equivalent - lots of options there, most major brands do a tyre in that size.

can't reccomend any one in particular, i'd say go on the cheap side though as mileage won't be an issue if most of your work is on the dirt

    Another tasmanian!!!

I have a sime konvoy on my series 3 in the standard 750x16 and they are very good. I can't remember who the supplier was though ,as I got them from my brother who got them locally. st lennoards tyres maybe? I know they do gt radial that make a similar xgrip in the same size.

    pic of my konvoys here.
sorta see them in this pic

probably easier to see in these ones.

I'm not 100% sure if they still make them, but they are cheap, less than $150 a tyre when I looked at them.

Must admit I like the Konvoys too...

Need to find *something* to put on Ambrose so I can put his Hankook Radials on Gus.

When I get the money I'll be looking at getting new tyres

And I may be getting rid of these. They are on about 60% at the moment and the spare has never been used

I'm in Tassie as well, how long can you wait?
