    Stage One RPM at 100kmh

Interested to know what RPM you sit at when doing 100kmh in your bog standard Stage One V8 with 4 SP standard box and 235 85 R16 tyres

Well an isuzu stage one does exactly 3200rpm at 100kmh. I don't believe they changed the gearing to the V8.
I know this because 3200 is what the isuzu was governed to.
The stage 1 should have the 1.4:1 high range transfer case ratio. So the diff is 3.54:1, top gear is 1:1 in the 4 speed. So measure from the ground to the centre of the wheel and you should be able to get a reason idea of the rpm you will be doing at any speed.

    Thanks

Other than not being too good at Math , I can say that Big Red runs at 3200RPM at 100kmh and it is the V8

Other landy ' experts' have told me this is not right but I think they base that on either V8 Rangies or V8 County's

Formula is (60 x rpm)divided by (tyre revs per kilometre x overall gear ratio)

    Revs at 100kph

I have an isuzu stage one and had been told that the rev limiter was 118kph (although 100kph was as fast as i've been- my speedo is a bit flicky and dodgy and it is a bit noisy at 100)
Apparently the isuzu ones have a different transfer ratio?
