    Slow progress with S111

    Hello,
Ive been away for quite a while and have been enjoying some of the chats about the s111"s.Ive had my SWB 74 model now for 6 years and still not finished, but must say havent done much with her for a while. She is just about ready, but need paint job, new fuel pump, new upolstory and to tart up the dash.

I just cant get back the enthusiasm to get working on it agin and every time I see it in the garage I feel guilty.
I have enjoyed some of you breaking down your machines to the enth degree and wonder how you ever get them back together.Mine wasnt a complete break down, but far enough. She is all original with great compression from the 2.2f L/R motor , but swithced the gb to a S11A.

I have attached a few photos of the old girl and am looking for inspiration to see her finished.Any guidance would be helpful
    Regards
    DDkemp

She looks great - What's left to do?
Don't worry about the paint - just get her mechanically sound
Add rego and dirt/mud and you wont be able to wipe the smile of your face.
Give us a list of what's left to do and we'll break it down to individual things we can nag you about.....hehehehehe.
FWIW I think the S2a/3 88 is the Land Rover

Looks pretty much done to me mate!

Sleepys on the money. Rego it. Paint it later - if at all.

I wouldn't really bother with it - just let it go.

If it helps, I can come around and take her off your hands?

For what it's worth, I'd kill for that LR (it's what I've been looking for for a while now) - you should be excited!

I agree with those above - get rego and see how you feel...

    Good luck with it...
