Doesn't look too bad. Is that the only rust?
Anyone who can use an angle grinder and a welder could fix that. You could probably do it yourself.
Just be wary of hidden rust up behind the dash.
I am considering purchasing a Series 3 but it has rust in the firewall on the passenger side, maybe as a result of a leaking heater over the years. Can anyone advise whether a repair is viable, what an approximate cost would be and possibly recommend a repairer in Sydney who has epxerience with these kinds of repairs? Please see pics in the attachments.
Many thanks,
Gordon.

hahah man, you should have seen the rusty chips and crap that fell out from the dash when I remove some of it to install a new indicator switch. It was horrible!
Needless to say i'll be ripping the lame SIII dash out and putting in a SII one once the firewall is replace/fixed.
As mentioned, very minor.
Thanks for the replies. Can anyone recommend a Sydney based Land Rover friendly repairer for rust repairs?
Thanks again,
Gordon.
