Sounds like it has airbags fitted. Have you looked underneath, there should be some round rubber bits sitting in the centre of the spring. They'll have a hose connecting back to the valve.
I have a tyre valve at the back of my series 3 which I think the seller told me was to adjust the suspension. Is that correct? And if so, to what pressure should it be inflated? It would be great if I could adjust the suspension, at the moment every speed bumb I go over is bone shattering!

it will probabley have air adjustable shockies.
drop them down to 10PSI (never run them dead flat) take a lap of the block, if its too soggy pump them up again)
if its got airbags the same principals apply.

If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
you most likely have Superlift shock absorbers if you only have one Schrader valve at the rear. These have an air bag surrounding the upper part of the shockie.

I have one fitted to the back of my old 77 Game, the shocks are monro air, with hydraulic. it has a tag on the back to say max 25psi but I will have to confirm. the veh was used to tow alot by the extra leaf in the back springs and wear on the tow mount
Thanks for that. I will try that.
