    Annoying passenger window

I have a s111 109 that the passenger window keeps falling out of the door when off road. I have replaced the door tops with after market ones I feel this may be the prob if the window tops are not exactly the same size? Anyone have a fix for this?
PS drivers door top was replaced at same time no probs with it Baily channel and strips are the same on both.

Yes it is a problem with the reproduction door tops, the window reveal is larger than the original and you have to fit a spacer or packing underneath the bailey channel that the glass slides in.

You will probably find that the hole for the window lock needs to be modified and you also need to add a spacer at either end of the glass to get the correct overlap in the panes for the draught excluder to work.

Like yourself, one door top was better than the other but neither are correct to the original measurements.

Damned poor quality control I say!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
