PS. Thanks for the permission!
I used to firmly believe there were no stupid questions.... feel free to ask anything, well almost anything.....
you ask about weather fitting a hiclone will do any good and Im going to hunt down your little landrover find some tracked A vehicle and run it over.
the switch is a marine dual battery switch bodged with the engine side fuse holder from something like a SII/A
If the back ends buggered I have a working diff you can have for the want of getting it to you (I have 3 it wont be missed) but if you can find a sals and someone to shorten the propshaft to suit put that in as the extra weight will hold the ass end down nicely in the rain and you will never break the bugger with the 2.25
as for a name if your trying to keep it going on a shoe string budget let me suggest
"the bloody thing" or similar thats what your going to be calling it anyway....![]()

If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Thanks for the offer! Cheaper to pick one up in Sydney methinks...
I've got my heart set on Rover diffs at the moment, due to the price (I'm trying to get the whole thing rego'd at minimal cost, then restoring) and relative ease... I'm sure I'll rethink this soon though
The one thing I was thinking of splashing out on though was a hiclone
Cheers Dave.
