Thread: Fuses?

Hi All,

Was trying to sort out an ignition fault on the weekend and was going through the fuses trying to rule them out. Pulled them all out and for sh#ts and giggles thought i'd see if it'd start...to my surprise it did!

Does the ignition system not run through the fuse box at all except to provided power for accessories etc.? Is it fused at all?

Bingo! Exactly right. The only things fused are lights, accessories and gauges. An advance on the 2a, where the only things fused are the ignition switched accessories.

One of the reasons for the traditional whiff of burning insulation often smelled around landrovers.
