Series Land Rovers from 1948 through Stage1 all have the same PCD as the Defender/County/Discovery 1 and Range Rover classic.
You will not find anything standard wider that 7" which were only fitted to the Discovery steelies and Alloys as well as RRc alloys. On a Stage 1 you may find that the positive offset of the Disco 1 rims will foul on the springs when on full lock.
RRc steel rostyle rims, Series forward control and 130 rims are all 6.5" but with a variety of offsets from positive for the late 130 through negative with the late SIIB
For 7.5 or 8 X 16 rims you will have to go after-market.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
thanks guys, i wasn't sure that the stud patterns were the same with the salisbury diff. much appreciated.
Did'nt the early series 1, 2, 2a have a different thread size or something to that nature

I've found some 7"x16" Defender 90 wheels for sale and am thinking about putting these on my Series III. I now have 15" wheels, 7.10x15 tires (but it is nearly impossible to find replacement tires of this size) and would prefer but have not been able to locate any stock 16" steel wheels. Will I be able to use the same wheel nuts that I now have, or will this alloy wheel requre something else? Any thoughts on this appreciated.
