Series Land Rover Forums changes

In an attempt to meet the needs of all members we have morphed the 3 series forums into 1 mega Series forum with 5 sub forums.

1. Series 1 Enthusiasts.
2. Series 2 and 2a
3. Series 3
4. Holden Powered series Landies (mainly for straight 6 Holden Engines)
5. Other powered series Landies.

The reason is that the issues of an engine conversions in a series 2 are not dissimilar to the issues of the same engine conversion in a series 3 or series 1.

It also means that people who don't want to know about hybrid Land Rovers don't need to read the converted sub forums.

One advantage is that other issues such as brakes which are the same on a short wheel base from 1950 through to 1980 can go in the main series forum and then be easily accessible to all.

Let us know how it feels and if there are any further improvements or changes we can make or threads that should be moved.

Another era has now passed, like all the other pinnicles areas the marketplace alerts in the series forums have gone the way of the Dodo and are now extinct.

The general marketplace alerts still exist as do the AULRO markets.
