    So any problems, or can i just pull my hard top off and happily drive around?

    As far as i know, yes. I have done it a few times.

    You can up the game and remove the windscreen and doors but that may have legal implications?

    As long as your seat belts aren't secured to the hard top, no problem. Windscreen down no problem too.
    I don't think you can legally take off the doors, though Peterg1001 registered his without doors I seem to recall.

    I think it depends upon what it is registered as.

    If it's registered a utility with canvas hood, yes you can. If it's registered as a panel van with windows, then you have changed it's shape and there may be legal implications.
