Cleaning Gear Knobs
Hi All,
I'm *slowly* restoring my 61 Series II.
I noticed that the Gear Knobs (red/yellow) look pretty dull.
Any suggestions on what to use to clean them and hopefully make them sparkle again? Does anybody have any tricks?
I've tried washing them in the sink with warm water & mild detergent.
I've tried polishing them with car wax.
I've tried Spray and Wipe.
I know that you can purchase new replacement units, but I'd like to keep the originals if possible - just make them shine again!
As always - thanks for any help.
The Grey Ghost.
