Series 2a not 3 (windscreen hinges etc). Headlights in guards means 1969-71. I think it looks like 16mm wheel studs, if so 1970-71. That grille suggests late in the period. All these with the proviso that the bits are original.

I do not see the diesel warning on the fuel filler, suggesting it is petrol, and the absence of a "6" badge suggests a four.

To me this would make it quite a desirable model - in a lot of ways the late Series 2a is the most attractive Landrover, as it was just before lots of plastic started appearing.

As to what it is worth....... this depends very largely on condition. In good running order and roadworthy it could be worth a few thousand, maybe $5000 max, but if you subtract from this the costs of getting it roadworthy and registered, the sum left pretty soon gets close to nothing. Think - four tyres, probably close to $300 each, a minimum of brake wheel and master cylinders, probably a few seals, new battery, registration these days getting close to $1000 (just did mine - $800 for rego and 3rd party). If it has been used unregistered (likely) some wiring/light repairs. Possibly a couple of spring bushes, maybe tierod ends, swivels. All this without doing any restoration, rust repair, repaint.

Scrap value is perhaps $500, putting a floor on the value, and fully restored it will still be worth only about $5,000 maximum, although for a 2a, this may be starting to rise.

Its got series 3 door hinges, so what else has been changed,
Also the radiator looks closer to the grill than it should be so its probably got a Holden motor.
the oil bath filter was adequate for holden, why fit a donaldson, it might be an a 8cyl ??
The truck cab looks pre 1970 because it has seatbelt holes drilled right thru.
Grey was pre late 2a.

The headlights were probably put in the guards when the radiator was moved forward
