    Series engine conversion options

Hi everyone i'm iterested in finding out a bit about some series engine conversions for when my IIA's 2.25 lets go. I've considered the holden 186,202 the ford 250 engine and the valiant six cylinder engines. I'm rather intersted in the valiant engines but I have no clue where to get a conversion kit for one and where to get a kit for a 250 engine.

You can put any of the engines mentioned in you will have to do a search for adapters though.
They do come up on ebay occasionally I personally think you are better off keeping the 2.25 4 cylinder engine if you wish to go with Petrol.
Both the Valiant and the Ford are a good conversion but you are asking a lot of the gear box and rear diff of a 2a.
After all the 2.25 has obviously lasted 40 years or more so why mess with it

Yes the original 2.25 is still going but I'm wondering what engine could replace it when it lets go. The old engine is good but I'd like something thats a six cylinder but cheap on parts and easy to find. it's only used as a farm vehicle because it's unregistered.
