    Early S2 Radiator

Does an early S2 with 2L engine use a S1 or S2 radiator or a radiator unique to that model? W.

The S1 had a rad mounting flange parralel to the core, S2 had them at right angles to the core.
So the 2L is a late S1 radiator with side straps that are in the S2 style. The S1 rad is narrower than the S2 aperture, so they have a wider "Z" shaped side strap than the 2 1/4l. I have a couple I don't want, but your a long way away

Thank you for your offer, but I don't need one.I've got a custom radiator for a S1 with a 2 1/4 L engine. Bottom pipe r/h side.Whoever made it made it about 20mm too long,it extends too far into the hole in the cross-member where the crank handle and the drive/linkage for the capstan goes. When I fitted a capstan about 8 years ago I had a new radiator made.
I,m just trying to work out what the old radiator would fit.
    Thank you W.
